About Me

I grew up in Waynesboro, PA and graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University in VA Beach, VA with two bachelor’s degrees; biology and mathematics. I was also a member of the women’s volleyball team at my undergraduate institution. I currently attend NC State University and am in the biomathematics Ph.D. program. Outside of my current research, I have research experience from an REU at Boston University in the Biostatistics Department and from my internship turned fellowship at National Institutes of Environmental Health in the Biostatistics and Computational Biology Branch.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting, working out, and being outside. Much of my free time is spent with my husband, son, and two dogs.
